122. Suehiro onsen, Beppu A true old-school onsen. 200 yen entry. No shower, body wash/shampoo, or staff. Stamp available. Inside there's one bath. Water is clear, temperature hot+. Breathing is good, but there was a faint smell of burning (somewhat like cigarette smoke). There's a painting of mountains on the wall.
