By accessing or using Onsen Oni (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Onsen Oni is a community-supported catalog and interactive map of hot springs (onsen) in Japan. Information is compiled from publicly available sources — including official facility websites, tourism databases, and government records — as well as community contributions from facility visitors.
3. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Onsen Oni makes no warranty that the information provided — including facility hours, prices, policies, access conditions, or safety information — is accurate, complete, or current. Always verify details directly with the facility before visiting.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Onsen Oni and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
5. User Contributions
By submitting content to the Service — including corrections, additions, reviews, or photographs — you grant Onsen Oni a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Service. Onsen Oni reserves the right to edit, modify, or remove any user-submitted content at its sole discretion.
6. Data Sources and Accuracy
Information on the Service is compiled from publicly available sources and community contributions. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is correct, complete, or up to date. If you notice an error, corrections are welcome and appreciated.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
