706. Yusai Bekkan, Kurokawa Onsen I booked with a duplicate reservation; no day-use available. Booking during stay is only possible without meals, one of the cheapest in the village. In a previous life, it was Ryokan Nishimura. Now it operates as a subordinate hotel to the main Yusai in Kurokawa. The baths of the main Yusai, located across the street, are accessible during their operating hours with a special ticket. There is a pleasant footbath opposite the entrance. The hotel itself is quite worn but still adequate. The room is spacious and somewhat worn but reasonably matches its price. Upon check-in, the room was clean and well heated, with a bottle of water, instant noodles, and yukata provided. Indoor bath: The water is clear, temperature about 42°C. Inside, humidity is high but breathing is comfortable—it was even cool in winter. The bath door stuck. I couldn't find the water analysis chart. When staying at Bekkan, you can safely skip this bath and use the main Yusai baths. When staying in Kurokawa, it is of course advisable to book a full ryokan with dinner and breakfast to get the full experience, but Yusai Bekkan can be effectively used if the budget is tight—for overnight stays, the room is fine, and the onsen experience can be supplemented by day-use at Kurokawa. 28.12.2025

A small hotel, acquired by Yukyonohibiki Yusai. At check-in they give you a ticket to use the baths at the main hotel (across the street, 2 minutes on foot). Rooms are in classic style — some with tatami, some with beds. The hotel itself has 2 baths (men's and women's, no rotation). Photos from Google. The men's bath temperature at the time of visit was 45-46, with a posted sign asking people to stir the water to cool it down. Outside near the entrance there's a large foot bath.
