53. Green Hotel, Yunoyama Onsen Visiting in a different season went great — this time I caught the yukemorebi effect in the indoor bath, and from the rotenburo there was a view of the daytime moon. Also adding a photo of the sign with additional bath info. This time the onsen participated in three stamp achievements simultaneously: - Yunoyama stamp rally January-March 2025; - Toreco card; - Yuratto Furatto stamp rally. I think on my third trip to Yunoyama Onsen I'll pick this hotel again for the stay — it really works for me.

53. Green Hotel, Yunoyama Onsen Stayed overnight. Higaeri was advertised on the website and there were non-guests visiting. The hotel has a slight Showa-era atmosphere and is pleasantly worn in a good way. Booked a Japanese-style room with kaiseki plus extras. The kaiseki dinner was good, the service during dinner was top-notch. Staff speaks little English, but there's at least one English-speaking employee. They were willing to drive me to spots in town and pick me up when needed (I used it once, since I mostly walked and distances are short). Among the guests, 80-90% were elderly, no foreigners. 1. Indoor baths. Breathing is fine. 1.1. Main large bath. Temperature is hot, has a jet zone. 1.2. Small stone bath with black interior finish. Temperature is very hot. 2. Outdoor zone. 2.1. A small polygonal bath. Temperature slightly below the main indoor bath. There was strong wind and in the evening it was mesmerizing to watch the steam dance across the water in different directions with varying intensity, changing the picture as it moved. 2.2. Down the stairs from the polygonal bath is a large outdoor stone bath. Water temperature is about the same as the polygonal bath. Although the bath is behind a fence, there's a nice view of the trees — in my case, cherry blossoms. The foliage was constantly swaying in the strong wind, the air was perfect, so you could zone out watching the surroundings for a long time. Occasionally, rare cherry blossom petals would drift through the bath. Water in all baths is clear. The baths in this onsen are excellent — I'd say the best of the five Yunoyama onsens I visited (and there were great ones among those too). Highly recommended for a visit.
