137. Minamisuka Hot Spring, Beppu A true old-school onsen. 100 yen entry. No staff, shower, or body wash/shampoo. Stamp available. Around 7 PM, lots of old-timers. Inside there's one bath. Water is clear, temperature hot+ (but it was being actively diluted before and while I was there). Breathing is comfortable.
