140. Matogahama Hot Spring, Beppu A true old-school onsen next to the large Don Quijote. 100 yen entry, stamp available (but on national holidays they weren't operating - they even drained the water from the bath). Inside there's one bath. Water is clear, very hot. Breathing is comfortable.
