About

Both the indoor bath and the open-air rotenburo (露天風呂) run on fully flowing moor spring water, amber-colored and faintly sulfurous, silky on the skin. A two-person sauna and a cold plunge sit alongside the indoor bath. The place is a small pension (5 rooms) that also welcomes day visitors, with a rest area and restaurant on site. Hot springs are scarce in this part of eastern Hokkaido, and this one has been going since the spring was drilled in 1995.
