91. Hamada onsen, Beppu Old-school onsen for 200 with no staff, no body wash, no shower. Operating hours 06:30 to 14:00 and 15:00 to 22:30. They stamp the Beppu Onsen-do passport. Located across from an interesting small onsen museum in a similarly classic building. Water is clear, slightly cloudy. Temperature in the evening was 46, but the onsen itself recommends diluting to 42. Breathing inside is good. Cherry blossoms were visible from the onsen window. 05.04.2025

91. Hamada Onsen, Beppu Onsen in a classic building. High ceilings, comfortable to breathe. Entry costs 200, you need to ask the old lady at the entrance separately for the stamp. No soap/shampoo or shower. Located across from an interesting small onsen museum in a similarly classic building. Inside there's one bath. Clear water, very slightly cloudy. Temperature is hot+. Recommended to visit as a combo with the museum.
