About
The water here runs cloudy and milky, fed directly from the spring without recirculation. The indoor section has two tubs side by side, one hotter and one cooler, and the cooler one turns visibly white as the water degasses. Outside there are open-air baths, reclining tubs with jets, and a log-house sauna where you pour the herbal water yourself. Nine private family baths are available in a separate building. The facility is one of the stops on the Kyushu Onsen Road 88 (九州温泉道, Kyushu Onsen-do), a hot-spring pilgrimage covering 88 springs across Kyushu.
