About
The whole facility, bathhouse included, is housed in a large log cabin right on the shore of Omura Bay. There is one indoor bath and one outdoor open-air bath (rotenburo, 露天風呂); the outdoor tub sits low enough to the bay that the water and the sea feel almost level. The spring water is kept flowing fresh without recirculation and has a noticeably smooth, silky feel on the skin, with a faint sulfur note. After bathing, the on-site rest area doubles as a snack cafe, and a wide wooden deck catches the sea breeze with a full view of the bay.
