About
Tanegashima has no volcano, which makes the natural hot spring here genuinely unusual. Both the outdoor and indoor baths run on kakenagashi (源泉かけ流し), with the rotenburo fed by unheated source water. There is also a cold bath, a foot bath outside, and separate saunas: an auto-louhi sauna on the men's side and a steam sauna on the women's side. The bath is tattoo-friendly and open daily from early morning until late evening.
