Shinwa no Yu (神話の湯), the bath at Aoshima Hostel, draws plenty of locals alongside overnight guests. The indoor bath is spacious enough to feel unhurried; the outdoor rotenburo is small and intimate. A sauna, cold bath, and a reservable private bath round out the set. The water has a faint sulfur scent and leaves skin noticeably soft.
