About

A large day-use bathing complex on the Narusawa plateau, with open-air baths that look directly out at Mt. Fuji. Alongside the two outdoor rotenburo, there is an indoor bath, a cave bath with lava-stone walls (a nod to the nearby Fuji lava caves), a carbonated pool, sauna, steam sauna, and a cold spring bath. Natural onsen water throughout.

190. Fuji Yurari Hot Spring, Yamanashi Super sento near Narusawa station, not far from Lake Saiko. Also relatively close to various caves, including the ice cave, wind cave, and Batman cave. Admission 1700 with towels. They stamp the Yamanashi 100 Onsen book, and the main stone bath is featured on the cover of this achievement's stamp book. There's a set of private baths (didn't take them), massage (which was simply excellent), a dining area, food and merch shop, chill zones, apparently even separate rooms for resting/eating, and a smoking area (not very conveniently placed, you can slightly smell it nearby). Bath photos are from the official website — they give a sense of what it really looks like, but don't formally match exactly (some seem to be from the women's section, but still very similar). 1. Upper floor baths. 1.1. Indoor bath. Has a Fuji view. Clear water, temperature 42. Comfortable to breathe inside. 1.2. Small outdoor bath. Fuji view. Clear water, temperature 42. 2. Lower floor. 2.1. Main outdoor large stone bath with a Fuji view. Pleasant view. Clear water, temperature 42. 2.2. Bath in a shelter with jet zones. Clear water, noticeable chlorine smell, temperature 38. 2.3. Cave bath with strong bubbles. Looks really cool inside, but heavily chlorinated — your eyes start stinging after sitting for a while. Temperature 38. 2.4. Sauna. 2.5. Steam bath. 2.6. Cold water bath. 2.7. Tucked in a nook — indoor carbonated water bath. Temperature between warm and hot. Comfortable to breathe inside. If you're planning a trip to Lake Saiko or the caves, definitely worth coming here — really good place. I'd even say that if you're deciding where to go in the Five Lakes area, plan a trip here and build other tourist activities around the onsen visit. With a Fuji view it'll be absolutely amazing.
