About

100% natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source, refresh both mind and body with bathing and dining! Founded in Taisho 11 (1922), this onsen facility has been operating for 100 years and offers a variety of baths including separate indoor baths for men and women, open-air baths, steam baths, waterfall baths, and sand baths where you wear a yukata. There are also 14 private baths available for reservation by phone from one week in advance. Additionally, there is a dining area and a hell-steamed kitchen where you can experience steamed cuisine. In the courtyard, there is a drinking spring hall selling juices made from seasonal fruits with hot spring minerals to energize your body, making it a facility where you can spend a whole day leisurely. They also sell "Hell's Kiln Pudding" steamed in a hell pot! Enjoy it after your bath.

An onsen complex with a small outdoor chill zone and a cafe. They stamp your pass. There's a sand onsen, but you have to bury yourself. The sand area is divided into 5 options by temperature, and generally the deeper you dig the higher the temperature. As for the regular baths: - outdoor bath with stones; - indoor area: a stone bath, a bath in two circles (hot), a small square one; - outdoor area where water pours from pipes (like a waterfall from a pipe) and you can sit under the stream (this area looks great). There are two saunas, one is ultra-steamy where you literally can't see anything because of the steam. Water is clear, mostly no smell, medium temperature (except the round bath). I photographed the composition chart outside, but it might not be about the water in the onsen specifically. Lots of people, but the complex handles it easily and it doesn't feel crowded. Recommended.
