Yatsusankan (八ツ三館) is a ryokan that has been running in Hida-Furukawa for over 160 years. Part of the building dates to 1905 and is registered as a national tangible cultural property, and the interiors carry that history through antique furnishings and wooden corridors. The name comes from the founder's hometown Yatsuo (八尾) in Toyama and a character from the owner's family name. The communal bath, Seseragi no Yu (せせらぎの湯), has a covered rotenburo set in a garden. The kashikiri (貸切) private bath, Oshidori no Yu (おしどりの湯), can be booked by the hour. A few premium rooms have their own rotenburo with onsen water and a view across the river to Honkoji Temple (本光寺).
