About

Terme Ogawa draws its spring water from its own source and runs all baths kakenagashi (free-flowing, undiluted). The water comes up a dark amber color, typical of the Tokyo area, and feels smooth on the skin. The men's and women's bath zones each rotate daily between a Japanese-style layout and a Roman-inspired one, so the place looks a bit different each visit. The bath lineup includes open-air rotenburo, a cave bath, a waterfall bath (utaseyu, 打たせ湯), a jet pool, and a carbonated bath indoors. On the sauna side there's a dry sauna, an herb mist sauna called the Thermalium (terumariumу, テルマリウム), and a low-temperature Turkish-style hammam. A cold bath fed by natural groundwater rounds things out. There's also a restaurant, a rest lounge, and free parking for 150 cars.
