About

A Scandinavian-styled public bath complex in Morioka with a varied lineup of artificial baths: carbonated, silk, electric, jet, and an open-air bath. Dry sauna and steam sauna are both on the bathing floor, along with a cold plunge. There is no natural spring water. Upstairs rest areas include a cinema room and nap rooms, and the in-house restaurant serves Tohoku-sourced food.

214 (4). SPA Yukko Morioka A super sento with tap water. Entry 800 + 300 for a towel set. There are chill zones, a mini cinema, a dining area, massage, massage chairs, a shop with their own merch, washing machines. As I understand, you can stay overnight. There were quite a few people in the evening, but nobody really bothered anyone. 1. Indoor area. 1.0. Breathing is tolerable, but there's a chlorine smell. 1.1. Large main hot silk bath in a semicircle. Water is white, slightly translucent, with some limescite deposits. I was very surprised it's an emulation and the water is tap water. Temperature around 38. Very noticeable chlorine smell. 1.2. Large cold bath in a second semicircle. 1.3. Block of single-person baths, water around 38, clear with chlorine smell: 1.3.1. Seated jet - 4 units. 1.3.2. Lying jet - 2 units. 1.3.3. Electric bath - 2 units. 1.4. Large sauna. 1.5. Steam bath. 1.6. Carbonated bath. Water is clear, light carbonation, chlorine smell, temperature around 37-38. 2. Outdoor rectangular bath, pretty standard. Water is clear, temperature around 40. Chlorine smell present but not as strong as in the indoor area. The facility itself, aside from the bath section, is pleasant. As for the baths - not an onsen and they go very heavy on the chlorine.
