The bath here is filled with natural water, not hot-spring water, and it isn't recirculated, so it stays fresh. Day bathers describe it as pleasantly hot with just the right depth, and there are six shower stations for rinsing off. It sits inside a riverside campground and restaurant on the Hinata River, at the foot of the trail up Mt. Oyama, and is popular with hikers coming down from the summit. A free rest room is set aside for bathers, and the restaurant next door serves trout, venison and wild boar by a wood stove. Tattoos are not allowed.
