Classification

Sodium Hydrogen phosphate-Sulfate spring

A sodium-led sulfate spring emerging at a hot 49 °C, weakly alkaline (pH 7.7) and moderately mineralized at 1,422 mg/kg dissolved solids — settled, mineral-rich body on the skin. A generous 212 mg/kg of metasilicic acid leaves the kind of silica film that places it in Japan's "beauty-water" family, with skin feeling noticeably smoother afterwards.

My personal recommendation - don't stay here😅 the price-quality ratio is just a nightmare. The onsen room and changing area are tiny. The mattress shakes if the neighbor moves even slightly. I imagined an earthquake all night 🤣🤕 although the hotel is new, everything inside feels extremely budget, as if it's not the famous Ritz at all😅 Many staff are foreigners and most have only recently started working here, and they are quite slow. The view of the mountain is phenomenal - that's true - but that's the only plus here🙈 The bath in the room also has a phenomenal view - but the water is tap water🤷🏽‍♀️ Breakfast is heartbreaking.. very tiny portions.
