416. Yumerindo, Kurokawa Onsen Stayed overnight, had breakfast (served in a separate area, I liked it). A ryokan with a mixed outdoor bath in Kurokawa, located east of the central area. This is where I learned about the achievement for the black towel in Kurokawa — huge respect to the hotel for that (it's displayed on the wall by reception). Without this, I would have definitely missed it. Overnight guests have access to four private baths (you can reserve one at check-in), located in a separate building that you need to walk to outside. My room had a balcony with a great view of the inner Japanese garden covered in moss. Regarding service, there are nuances — the elderly lady at reception and the young staff at breakfast did everything perfectly, but the male staff, while trying very hard, were a bit wooden and uncertain. Onsen is available for higaeri usually from 8:30 to 19:00, with some days having shortened hours like 17:30 to 19:00 for several days a week. Included in the Kurokawa tegata. The ryokan has its own branded towels. The main mixed outdoor stone bath. Clear water, temperature 43-44. View of trees all around. A really great quintessential rotenburo — looks good both during the day and in the evening. Indoor bath, clear water, temperature 42. Breathing is good. There's a sauna. Private simple bath, clear water, temperature 41-42. A red bug or cockroach ran out here, which in its panic performed a self-elimination by jumping and drowning itself in the onsen. Great rotenburo, highly recommended for a visit. For an overnight stay, on one hand the service is debatable, but on the other hand, given the higaeri time slots, it's convenient to have such a bath in free access.
