An alkaline simple thermal spring with notable sodium content, delivered at 43.8 degrees C as a hot source. Weakly alkaline and soft on the skin, colorless, transparent and odorless — the panel describes it as gentle enough for any bather. Flowing at 106 L/min, the source feeds the men's, women's and family baths entirely as untreated free-flow.

383. Sachigaoka, Hinagu Onsen, Kumamoto An old-school onsen for ¥500 in an onsen village full of Kumamon. The posted hours are 10:00 to 20:30 (except Tue). They stamp the Kyushu 88 Onsen rally book. The owner, an elderly man, is proud of his onsen and very friendly. The bath has clear, slightly cloudy water, with a temperature of 43.5. It’s easy to breathe in. The shower also uses onsen water, and in winter, while it has not run for a while, it comes out cold at first, then gets warmer and warmer. 10.01.2025
