Ginpaso sits right on the Ako coast in Hyogo, and the two main bath areas are arranged to face the sea. Ten-kai-no-yu (天海の湯) has an open panorama over the Seto Inland Sea, wide enough to take in Shodo Island on a clear day. Iwa-umi-no-yu (岩海の湯) pairs a rock-face indoor bath with its own sea-view outdoor pool. The two areas rotate between men and women morning and evening, so staying overnight gives you both. The water flows fresh and undiluted (kakenagashi, かけ流し), salty enough that you feel the warmth linger well after you get out. Both sides have a sauna with auto-loilyu. Some special rooms have their own private open-air baths.
