A simple thermal spring drawn from a hot 64 C wellhead in Beppu. Weakly alkaline at pH 7.5 with a light 764 mg/kg of dissolved solids, it is gentle on the skin and easy on the body. The water is colorless, tasteless and odorless, with a quiet mineral profile that suits long, unhurried soaks. Among Japan's hotter natural sources, it is cooled before bathing.
