Yakushima Onsen

A modern hotel with an onsen and day-use bathing. On one side there is a mountain view, on the other an ocean view, a beautiful sight. A large shower area, with a hair dryer, skincare products, and other amenities. There are 2 baths, one indoor and one outdoors. The indoor one is large, tiled, and the water is a little hot and very soapy, with even warnings about its high pH of 9.7. If it gets in your eyes, it can sting a lot, so it is best to sit carefully. But the feeling on the skin is amazing, the water wraps around you and is very relaxing. Both baths offer a breathtaking view of the ocean. The second bath is outdoors, styled with stone, warm, and a little cooler than the indoor one. It is also much smaller. Sitting there with three people is already not very comfortable. There is no difference in composition between the baths. A gentle, comfortable onsen for anyone who likes to lie back in a pleasant spring.
