Hijiori Onsen Matsui Ryokan

A Meiji-era wooden ryokan with a mixed-gender open-air bath (rotenburo, 露天風呂) in the garden, plus separate indoor baths and a private source bath. The hot spring water is mildly cloudy green with no strong smell, gentle on the senses. The first floor retains the original Meiji wooden structure, and the building once served as a clinic, with some traces of that history still visible inside.
