A large ryokan at Awara Onsen in Fukui, with a bath floor named Sen no Koboreru-yu (千のこぼれ湯), meaning the bath that always overflows. Men's and women's sides are separate: the men's area has a spacious indoor hall, an open-air rotenburo, individual tsubo-yu (pot baths), and a reclining bath. The women's area has all of that plus ceramic pot baths, a jacuzzi, and a healing sauna. Some guest rooms have a private open-air tub. The water is smooth on the skin.
