Ooshiba-no-yu (photos from the internet). Higaeri onsen in Ina. 500 yen. Surrounded by a pine forest. Inside: a regular bath, cold bath, sauna, and a ne-yu (lying bath) milky bath where ultrasound creates a "silk" water effect. The water smells quite strongly of chlorine. Mildly alkaline. Source temperature is originally 44 degrees. There's a sauna. The outdoor baths on the women's side have a view of a fence and beautiful pine trees. Two outdoor baths: a regular one and a large plastic jacuzzi. There's a restaurant, massage chairs, and a souvenir shop. Fairly busy on weekdays. Judging by the girl with tattoos (lettering on her ribs) sitting next to me, they don't really prohibit them. No signs about it either.
