I was so impressed by yesterday's onsen that I forgot to write about another great place I discovered this weekend. Inubosaki Shionoyu Hot Spring in the city of Choshi. The rotenburo photos are from the website, and in my opinion the real view is even better than in those photos. View of the ocean, cliffs, and a lighthouse. We were there in the evening, so the lighthouse was cheerfully shining its spotlight at us. I hope the lighthouse keeper enjoys their job as much as we enjoyed this onsen. Nice bonuses: 5 free massage chairs and lots of other interesting free stuff. For example, you can play an accordion or a ukulele. We totally got hooked.
