Hazu Bekkan sits right on the Ure River in Yuya Onsen (湯谷温泉), taking just five groups at a time. The spring water flows fresh without recirculation (kakenagashi, 源泉かけ流し) through a garden open-air bath and a cypress indoor bath; a gender-alternating schedule lets guests use all three baths during their stay. Some rooms have their own in-room hot spring bath, with the sound of the river audible from inside.
