Hotel Hana no Yu (ホテル華乃湯) has three separate bath areas: open-air baths along the Natori River, open-air baths on the hillside, and an indoor bath called Choju no Yu (長寿の湯). All run kakenagashi (掛け流し), flowing straight from the hotel's own spring without recirculation. The water has a light saltiness you can feel and smell, and it leaves you warm for a long time after soaking. Guests can also book a private rotenburo (貸切露天風呂) with a small tatami room and an open view over the river, and some guest rooms have their own attached open-air baths fed by the same spring. The hotel has the feel of a well-worn ryokan that has been steadily updated rather than rebuilt.
