Kurhaus Ishibashi Ryokan

210. Kurhaus Ishibashi Ryokan, Shimoda Visited for higaeri, listed from 10:00 to 21:00. They first quoted 1430, but after the stamp book it became 1100. They stamp the Shizuoka 60 Onsens rally book. The ryokan looks like it was glued together from different buildings - an authentic entrance, a technical corridor with a low ceiling, then a traditional section again, then the onsen in a strange design. 1. Indoor area. The interior design is rather shabby for a ryokan. Breathing inside is good. 1.1. Bubble bath, water is clear, temperature is hot. 1.2. Utaseyu on wooden stumps with very hot water. 1.3. Two steam boxes. 1.4. A bath with slightly cool water. 2. Outdoor stone bath, water is clear, temperature is warm. The view from the bath is of a crummy old technical fence. If you don't need the stamp for an achievement, this is definitely a skip - a mediocre place, especially for higaeri.
