Day Use
YesLast entry is 30 minutes before closing. The Kampo bath (漢方薬湯) runs hotter every day in the late afternoon, from 17:00 to 19:00. The sauna rota (men Thursday to Monday, women Wednesday) is the current arrangement and may change.
Bath only is 530 yen; bath plus sauna is 850 yen (750 yen for residents of the Hida area; an 11-visit ticket is 7,500 yen). Elementary school children 180 yen, infants 100 yen. A hands-free set (towel, body soap, shampoo rental) is 240 yen.

Inari-yu (稲荷湯, formerly Utopia Inari-yu) is a small neighborhood sento in Takayama. There is a large main bath, a herbal Kampo bath (kanpoyaku-yu, 漢方薬湯) and a cooler jacuzzi for slow soaking, plus a strong jet that works on stiff shoulders. The water is very soft natural water pumped from underground; the bathhouse does not describe it as onsen water. A wood-stove sauna opened in 2026, with separate men's and women's days. Towels, body soap and shampoo can be rented, and kids are welcome.
