Yubana mankai

Yubana Mankai (湯花満開) is an adult-only ryokan at Izu Atagawa (伊豆熱川) with no shared communal bath at all. Instead, all bathing is done in one of six kashikiri (貸切) private baths: three open-air rotenburo on the upper floor, where sea breezes come in and some rooms frame a view of the ocean, and three indoor private baths on the ground floor with varying tub shapes. All six are fed from the ryokan's own spring and run kakenagashi, meaning water flows through without recirculation. A dry sauna is attached to one of the outdoor private baths. Three rooms on the top floor also have their own private open-air baths. Because every bath is private, guests with tattoos can soak without concern.
