A small ryokan in Fukuji Onsen (福地温泉, Fukuji onsen), the quietest corner of the Okuhida Onsen area. The water is clear and nearly odorless, run fresh from the source into both indoor and outdoor baths. The rotenburo looks out over forest and a stream, with the view shifting through the seasons. Two rooms have their own private open-air bath. The entrance feels like an old family home, with heavy ceiling beams and an irori hearth at the center of evening dining.
