About

Hirosekan is a small ryokan at Tsukioka Onsen (月岡温泉) that has been operating since the Taisho era. The spring water is sulfurous, with a distinctive emerald-green color. Guests have access to two private reserved baths (kashikiri, 貸切), one open-air and one indoor, plus separate men's and women's baths. Meals are served in the room. Just next door, a monument marks the old source site where you can also drink the spring water.
