Wakoto Hot Spring

A small free rotenburo (露天風呂) tucked at the tip of the Wakoto Peninsula on Lake Kussharo. The simple spring pools right at the water's edge, with the lake stretching out in front. There is almost nothing between you and the water, no fence, no gate, which gives it a genuinely wild feel. Nudity is the norm but not enforced; a changing area is close by.
