Shirakaba Resort Ikenotaira Hotel

Found a gem, highly recommend. Higaeri at a hotel by a lake. Highlights: - rotenburo with infinity onsen and panoramic views of mountains and the lake - the door from the indoor onsen to the rotenburo goes right through the water - kon'yoku (mixed bathing, with clothing) rotenburo and sauna (very rare thing) - huge sauna with a panoramic window - cold bath at 9 degrees (!) - drinkable mountain spring water The price isn't great — 2,000 yen for higaeri with all towels and kon'yoku clothing included. The water itself isn't very interesting, but as a facility, with the view and the light-touch kon'yoku experience, it's very good. Tattoos prohibited.
