Kaminakazato's last neighborhood sento, with a mild open-air bath
Closed on Tuesdays. On Sundays and holidays open 14:00 to 23:00.
Bathing only costs 550 yen for adults, 200 yen for elementary-school children, and 100 yen for preschoolers. Adding the sauna is extra and priced by gender, 880 yen for men and 650 yen for women; if you pay with the common discount bathing ticket, the sauna add-on becomes 350 yen more for men or 150 yen more for women.

Lukewarm BathDaikoku-yu is a small neighborhood sento two minutes on foot from Kaminakazato station, and by its own account the last sento left in Kaminakazato. The water is plain groundwater, pumped up from 130 meters down and heated rather than drawn from a hot spring. The men's side has a single open-air bath that rotates a different medicinal herb into the water each day, plus an electric bath, a body-massage bath and a shared super jet bath; the women's side adds its own electric bath, a herbal bath and a tourmaline cold bath. A paid sauna comes with each side too, infrared for the men and a lower-temperature dry sauna for the women. Reviewers say the outdoor bath runs mild, warm enough to sit in for a long while rather than a quick dip. It's an easygoing spot that welcomes kids and visible tattoos, and has been running since 1948.
