A blend of two wells in Katsuragi-no-sato, served as a sodium bicarbonate-chloride water with a salt-tinged finish from a chloride sub-type. Neutral pH and soft on the skin — the bicarbonate side does the smoothing work while chloride leaves a touch of mineral body. The wellhead runs cool at 28.4 °C, so the bath is reheated to 42 °C for soaking.

Kamokimi-no-yu is a day-use bathing complex at the foot of Mount Kongo, just outside Gose. Outside there is a rock-set bath with a salt sauna and a view straight up the mountain while you soak; inside, Tsuru-no-yu (鶴の湯) and Kame-no-yu (亀の湯), the crane and turtle baths, swap by the day, alongside a cold plunge, a regular sauna, and a utaseyu (打たせ湯) falling-water bath. The water itself is gentle rather than sharp, the kind that warms through slowly and leaves skin feeling smooth. Two private baths can also be booked, one with a tent sauna, one with a far-infrared sauna. The name honors the Kamo clan and the old deities once said to watch over the forests of Katsuragi and Mount Kongo, and the restaurant on site, Tsurukame (鶴亀), shares its crane-and-turtle name with the baths. It is a bigger, busier place than a typical neighborhood sento, popular with hikers coming down from Kongo and families with kids at the play corner, and reviews describe it as clean and well kept even when crowded.

329. Kamokimi-no-yu Hot Spring, Gose A super sento with onsen water for 700-800. Opening hours are listed as 10:00 to 23:00. They stamp the Kansai 41 Super Sento 24/25 rally. Toreco cards are issued for the onsen. There is a diner, massage, karaoke, a playground, massage chairs, and arcade games. Private baths are available for 2500. 1. Outdoor area. 1.1. Main outdoor bath in stone. The water is cloudy white-brown, with lime. Temperature is 40. 1.2. Small stone bath with a TV. The water is clear brown, temperature is 38. 1.3. Two utaseyu. 1.4. Bath with duck toys. 1.5. Sauna. 2. Indoor area. Breathing is fine. There is a slight chlorine smell. 2.1. Five jet baths. 2.2. Sauna. 2.3. Cold bath. 2.4. Bath with clear water and bubbles, temperature is 38. 2.5. Carbonated bath, temperature is 38. 2.6. First bath with clear green-brown water, temperature is 40-41. 2.7. Second bath with clear green-brown water, temperature is 40-41. An average place, but on one hand it did not stand out, and on the other hand it is very inconvenient to get to.
