480. Yusainoyado Boukai, Beppu ★ Stayed overnight, located in the bay area of Beppu. They stamp the Beppu Onsen-do book. Available only for guests, no higaeri. The hotel itself has a slightly shabby vibe. Service-wise, the male staff tried hard but did things a bit awkwardly. Had the Japanese breakfast. Separate outdoor bath on the roof with an amazing view of the bay, Beppu, and Don Quijote. But while actually sitting in the bath, the view is much simpler due to the fence and viewing angle. Clear water, temperature 40-41. Inside, one bath with clear brownish water, temperature 43. A second indoor bath with lighting and a passage to the outdoor area, temperature 41-42. Sauna and cold bath. Bath photos from the internet, accurate. Great rooftop rotenburo with a nice view.
