496. Shinseikan ryokan Ukenokuchi onsen, Oita ★★★ Visited for higaeri, 500 yen. Higaeri available from 09:00 to 22:00. They stamp the 88 Kyushu Onsens passport. Located at the edge of the prefecture. Large outdoor bath with a view of the forest. Water is cloudy green, temperature 40. Super natural atmosphere. Amazing place — great rotenburo, unusual water, excellent atmosphere.
