Hotel Ogawa

Tucked at the end of a valley road in Toyama, Hotel Ogawa has been drawing the same bicarbonate spring water since 1617. The real draw is the natural cave outdoor bath, a short walk along the river from the inn, where the soft, skin-warming water pools inside bare rock. Alongside it you'll find a handful of other open-air baths (lotus-themed, exposed rock, cypress barrel), so a stay turns into a slow tour through five very different soaks.
