About
Koya Ryokan (高野旅館) is a small family-run inn in Yunishigawa Onsen with four baths, two indoor and two outdoor, all available for private use. Guests pick up a sign at the front desk and hang it on whichever bath they want to reserve, a system the owners introduced during the pandemic that stuck. The water flows freely without recirculation and feels notably smooth. Dinner is served around an irori (囲炉裏) hearth in a separate dining wing, and the landlady's hospitality is what most guests come back for.
