Ryokan Myojo sits in Matsunoyama Onsen (松之山温泉), which is counted among Japan's three great medicinal hot springs (Nihon Sandai Yakuyu, 日本三大薬湯). The spring water here is notably salty and flows without recirculation through both the indoor baths and the open-air rotenburo. Day use is also available.
