Akiu Fuga is a boutique ryokan in Akiu onsen with separate-sex indoor baths and two private, rock-built open-air baths along the Natori river, reserved in advance for one group at a time. It also has a private Finnish sauna, also reservation-only. The spring water is a weakly alkaline type known locally for leaving the skin feeling smooth. The inn opened in 2023 as an adult-focused stay built around a nighttime mood, complete with its own bar, and it doesn't take day guests or offer children's amenities.
