Aoidake Onsen (青井岳温泉) sits inside Aoidake Natural Park in southern Miyazaki. The spring water is soft and slightly salty, and bathers regularly note that skin feels noticeably smoother after a soak. The bath lineup includes a main indoor pool, a hot tub set at a higher temperature, a walking bath (歩行浴, hobuyoku), a neutral-temperature tub, a cold bath, and an open-air rotenburo (露天風呂) among the trees. Sauna rounds out the bathing floor. Upstairs, the THERMAL LOUNGE Yurukotto (ゆるこっと) has ganbanyoku (岩盤浴, heated-stone beds) and ondol beds, recliner seating, a manga and book library of about 10,000 volumes, and a free drink bar. Two restaurants are on site. A separate outdoor sauna, GRAN SAUNA MIYAZAKI, operates on the grounds and requires a reservation. The facility was fully renovated and reopened in December 2025 under new private management.
