About
The spring water here runs a cloudy reddish-brown and is piped straight to the baths without recirculation (kakenagashi, 源泉かけ流し). There are two baths: a warmer indoor one and a cooler open-air rotenburo (露天風呂) that opens in late spring and closes for winter. Overnight guests can use the baths around the clock. The ryokan itself is a small, old building run by a couple, with tatami rooms and a dining room that serves seasonal mountain vegetables.
