A compact day-use bath on the banks of the Hime River, with a single indoor tub fed by free-flowing spring water (kakenagashi, 源泉かけ流し). The facilities are basic and the space is tight, but the spring quality is genuine and the water runs notably hot. A small balcony under the eaves lets you cool off with river views between soaks. The place has a pleasantly worn, unhurried feel, and a lactic acid drink is given to guests after bathing.
