295. Maenohara Onsen Sayano Yudokoro, Tokyo Super sento with onsen water, one of the recommended places in Tokyo. Restaurant, massage, stone bath, massage chairs, chill-out zone. There's a private bath (didn't take it), but with a note that mixed-gender groups aren't allowed. I got a massage — well done. Bath photos from the internet, accurate. Couldn't find the composition sign inside the onsen, so took it from the official website. 1. Outdoor zone. 1.1. Main round bath. Water is clear dark-brown with some limescite deposits. Temperature 40. Burnt smell. 1.2. Smaller additional bath, adjacent to the main one (seems to be closer to the source). Cloudy white/dark brown. Temperature 40. Burnt smell. 1.3. Three barrels with water like the main bath, slightly clearer in color. 1.4. Lying bath for 9 people. 1.5. Steam bath. 2. Indoor zone. Comfortable to breathe, but a noticeable chlorine smell. 2.1. Main rectangular bath, clear water, temperature 39-40. 2.2. Various jets, 8 units, clear water, temperature 40, strong chlorine smell. 2.3. Sauna. 2.4. Cold bath. Really great outdoor bath, the water is lovely, felt very relaxed. Also fairly convenient to get to from the northern part of the city. The indoor bath wasn't for me because of the strong chlorine smell. Recommended for a visit.
