Kami-no-yu (神の湯) is one of two communal bathhouses run by the same operator in Togatta Onsen, a spa town at the foot of Mount Zao in Miyagi. Inside there are two indoor baths: a somewhat larger one at a manageable heat, and a smaller, seriously hot tub for the more adventurous. The water comes out brownish with a faint iron note. A public foot bath sits just outside. No sauna, no rotenburo, just two pools and good spring water.
